Web Developer

Blast Advanced Media is looking for an experienced web developer that knows how to create simple and elegant code for the backend of various websites and web applications. We are looking for someone that doesn’t need their hand held through a project and yet plays well with others.  As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing various websites.  If you are someone that knows multiple programming languages (such as PHP,.NET C#, Coldfusion, SQL, to name a few) and has programmed the backend of many websites then drop us a line.

Languages utilized include .NET C#, Coldfusion, SQL, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, as well as some PHP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement new features and functionality quickly, efficiently, and effectively
  • Work with support staff to identify and resolve defects
  • Write automated tests to ensure proper and consistent application operation
  • Monitor application performance and optimize code and application architecture

MUST HAVE:

  • 4+ years experience building and maintaining dynamic websites
  • 4+ years experience with object oriented programming
  • Must be very familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, CSS,  AJAX
  • Passion for writing elegant, modular code
  • Passion for learning new technologies and programming languages
  • Creating, modifying, querying, and coding using SQL
  • Excellent time management skills

PLUSES:

  • Experience with the Microsoft .NET technology specifically in ASP.NET and C#
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related fields
